Concerns for missing teenager at Lake Illawarra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenager south of Wollongong.

Lachlan Kennedy, aged 16, was last seen at Tullimbar about 7.50pm yesterday (Tuesday 29 November 2022).

When he could not be contacted by family members, he was reported missing to Lake Illawarra Police District who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age as well as him living with a medical condition that requires constant monitoring.

Lachlan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, thin build, and with blond/brown hair.

He was last seen wearing dark t-shirt, dark track pants, red/black Nike sneakers and riding a push bike.

Lachlan is known to frequent the Tullimbar, Calderwood and Albion Park areas.
