Kempsey Shire Council has announced that the construction of Medica Bridge on Upper Smiths Creek Road in Kundabung is underway. Eire Constructions has been appointed to carry out the construction works.
As part of the project, the by-pass road will be temporarily closed on Tuesday 7 March between 9:00am and 2:00pm. The closure is necessary to allow for the crane lifting of the new concrete bridge deck.
Traffic control will be manually managed with stop/go signs while the crane is on site.
For safety reasons, it is essential that members of the public do not enter the site zone or approach the works at any time.
Eire Constructions has asked for the cooperation of residents and road users to ensure their work in the area proceeds without any disruption.
