Construction Starts On New Blayney Multipurpose Service

NSW Gov

The Blayney community is one step closer to a new health service, with construction underway on the Blayney Multipurpose Service (MPS).

The redevelopment will deliver a new purpose-built and modern health facility to improve health and aged care services for the people of Blayney and surrounding communities.

The new health facility will be built on the existing Osman Street site and include a new residential aged care wing with single rooms and bathrooms, as well as more inpatient unit beds, ambulatory care treatment chairs and HealthOne rooms for integrated primary and community health services.

To streamline access to the facility, there will be one new main entry with new reception and waiting room area, replacing the existing three entries to the current facility.

The redevelopment will be built in three stages to enable all current services at Blayney MPS to continue to operate during construction. Taylor Construction has been engaged as the main works contractor for the new facility.
