Consultation closing soon: Balnarring Township Structure Plan
13 May 2019
Don't miss out on providing your thoughts on Mornington Peninsula Shire's Draft Balnarring Township Structure Plan. Second round consultation closes soon: 5pm Friday 7 June 2019.
The Plan identifies land use, urban design and transport concepts seeking to boost the successful growth and enhancement of the township's urban areas over the next 15 years.
The project began in late September 2018 with visioning workshops held with the community and targeted stakeholder engagement to identify the vision and themes to help develop the Draft Balnarring Township Structure Plan.
Community members are encouraged to join in and help shape Balnarring! Help us:
- capture and enhance the attributes of Balnarring that are most loved.
- improve elements of the township.
- manage urban growth pressures within our township in a way that is sustainable and protects our green wedge areas.
Mornington Peninsula Shire Mayor and Red Hill Ward Councillor David Gill said "we encourage the community to provide us feedback on the concepts and ideas".
Following the public exhibition period, the feedback will be reviewed and where appropriate incorporated into the Plan.
