Council budgets aren't just financial documents – they set the agenda for the projects and services Council invests in. And because you care about these projects and services, we are asking you to contribute to our budget process this year.
We're conducting a survey asking the community to submit ideas and thoughts on what the Borough of Queenscliffe's budget should focus on. This survey is now open to the public and can be accessed here.
The survey will ask you what areas you think we should invest in, where our priorities should lie and provides an opportunity for you to share your ideas with us. The results will tell us which projects are important to the community and how Council can best invest in our Borough.
Open to everyone– residents, ratepayers, holiday-makers and those in-between, all are encouraged to participate. Our community is wide and varied, and we want to hear from all.
The survey is an on-line questionnaire, if you would like a paper-based version, head into Council offices at 50 Learmonth Street and speak to our Customer Service Officers.
The budget survey closes on the 23rd of February.
In addition, Council is holding a Community Budget Presentation on the 7th of February. Come along to learn about Council's current financial situation and where our current financial commitments lie. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the Councillors at the end of the presentation.
The presentation will take place at 6 pm on the 7th of February at Town Hall, 50 Learmonth St Queenscliff. If you can't make it in person, you can join via zoom using this link.
