- Yagan Square Amphitheatre will host a free broadcast of the AFL Grand Final on Saturday, 28 September, from 10.30am to 4.00pm

The Cook Labor Government is partnering with 7plus to deliver a free live screening of the 2024 AFL Grand Final at Yagan Square on Saturday, 28 September.
This event will bring Western Australians together in the heart of Perth to enjoy the game on a giant screen, while also offering a vibrant atmosphere with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and more.
From DJ Kevin Wilson's pre-game set to competitions, giveaways, and footy challenges, Yagan Square will be Perth's premier destination for AFL Grand Final day. Additionally, from 11:00am 12:00pm, catch appearances from some of Perth's own AFL greats on a live panel who will also sign autographs.
This partnership with 7plus also marks the launch of the Stories licensed pop-up zone at Yagan Square. The licensed area will provide a premium viewing location alongside a specially curated food and beverage menu, adding another layer to the Grand Final festivities.
As stated by Lands Minister John Carey:
