Arson Squad detectives are seeking the public's assistance with information that may assist them with their investigation into a house fire that occurred in Cooloongup during the early hours of Sunday, 27 March 2022.
Just after 4am, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire at the home on Linville Avenue. It is believed the home was burgled prior to the fire starting. The house was destroyed by the fire and damage is estimated at $350,000.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and Arson Squad investigators urge anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of this fire, or any suspicious people/vehicles in the area between 3am and 4am, to upload the vision direct to them at https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/cooloongupfire
Anyone with information relating to these fires is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
