The state government has announced the reinstatement of Stage 3 'Stay at Home' restrictions across metropolitan Melbourne, which includes all of Cardinia Shire, from 11:59pm Wednesday 8 July for six weeks.
As with the previous period of Stage 3 restrictions, there are only four reasons to leave your home if you live in Cardinia Shire Council:
- Shopping for food and essential items
- Care and caregiving
- Daily exercise
- Work and study — if you can't do it from home.
Additional restrictions have been put in place.
