There are 652 COVID-19 cases in hospital in Victoria - with 44 active cases in ICU, including 28 on a ventilator, and an additional 29 cleared cases in ICU.
5,729,130 vaccine doses have been administered by Victoria's state-commissioned services, with 19,401 administered yesterday at state-run centres. 2,496 of the doses administered yesterday were for children aged 5 to 11.
43.8 per cent of Victorians aged 18 and over have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. 93.6 per cent of Victorians aged 12 and over have had two doses. 48.1 per cent of Victorians between 5 and 11 have had one dose.
7,169 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded yesterday. This includes:
- 4,466 who tested positive on a Rapid Antigen Test
- 2,703 who returned a positive result on a PCR test.
Sadly, the Department was notified yesterday of six deaths of people aged in their 70s, 80s and 90s.
This brings the total number of deaths in Victoria since the pandemic began to 2,171.
There are 60,917 active cases in Victoria.
20,624 PCR tests were processed yesterday. The total number of PCR tests performed in Victoria since the pandemic began is 19,063,678.

More school pop-up vaccination sites open this weekend
15 pop-up vaccination clinics are open this weekend at primary schools in Victoria to deliver more vaccines into local communities, for eligible people of any age.
The pop-up school sites are: Bairnsdale Primary, Craigieburn Primary, Hume Valley School, Keilor Views Primary, Melton Primary, Mildura Primary, Moomba Park Primary, Mossgiel Park Primary, Narre Warren South P-12 College, Roslyn Primary, Spring Parks Primary, St Georges Road Primary in Shepparton, Tarneit P-9 College, William Ruthven Secondary School and Wodonga South Primary.
Third doses for 16 to 17-year-olds
In just the first two days since they were made eligible, 4,318 Victorian 16 to 17-year-olds have received their third dose of COVID-19 vaccine at state-run clinics, GPs and pharmacies.
All Victorian state-run vaccination centres are able to vaccinate eligible 16 to 17-year-olds with their third dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
The third dose for this age group is the adult Pfizer vaccine given three months after the second dose, as recommended by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
