Update: Vaccines

In another strong day for vaccinations, 33,611 vaccine doses were administered by Victoria's state-commissioned services yesterday.

The total number of doses administered through these services is 2,288,107.

Every Victorian aged 16 years and over is now eligible to access a coronavirus vaccine at state-run vaccination centres, under an expansion of the state vaccine program that will further help Victoria reach its goal of one million doses over five weeks by 19 September.

There has been a tremendous response to vaccination bookings over the past two days, particularly from people aged in the 16-39 years age group.

Victoria has delivered more than 300,000 doses towards our 1 million target with three weeks to go. More than 2 million doses have been delivered by state run centres and nearly 5 million doses have been delivered in total.

The booking system has been managing an extraordinary level of demand and we thank Victorians for their enthusiasm and patience. If you can't successfully make a booking at first, please try again later.
