Tasmania Police has received a copy of the findings, recommendations and comments of Coroner Simon Cooper in relation to the deaths in custody of: Troy Colin Monson, Robin Michael and Scott Clifford Mitchell., Tasmania Police say
The report makes several recommendations for Tasmania Police in relation to the death of Troy Monson, who died on 22 June 2015.
Tasmania Police takes its responsibilities in relation to the safety and welfare of people in our care very seriously, and the recommendations will be carefully considered.
We extend our condolences to all those affected by the deaths of Mr Monson, Mr Michael and Mr Mitchell.
