Five hundred dollars' worth of prizes are on offer, as Cessnock City Council kicks off its Support Local campaign for March, encouraging the community to showcase their favourite local health and fitness businesses within the LGA.
There are three prizes up for grabs in total:
- 1 x $200 voucher for Hunter Wellness Clinic
- 1 x $150 voucher for Quinntessential Massage
- 1 x $150 voucher for Hogan Health
For a chance to win one of the prizes, residents can simply post a photo of themselves being active on Facebook, and tag their favourite gym, fitness studio, personal trainer or yoga studio business within the Cessnock Local Government Area (LGA) in the caption, including the hashtag #SupportLocalCessnock.
Enter as many times as you like - the more entries, the greater your chances of winning!
Cessnock City Mayor Dan Watton said the competition was an exciting way to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our local health and fitness professionals running businesses in Cessnock.
"Our local fitness businesses are a cornerstone of our community's well-being," said Clr Watton.
"I encourage all residents to get involved, stay active, and showcase their favourite businesses as we continue to build a strong, supportive local economy."
Entries close on 30 March 2025. Winners will be announced 31 March 2025.
