Council Backs Community Projects with Financial Aid

Goulburn Mulwaree Council is pleased to announce its support for several local community initiatives through financial assistance and in-kind contributions.

The Lions Club of Marulan & District Inc. will receive a 50% fee waiver, amounting to $1,755.00, for the hire of the Marulan Hall for their activities planned for the 2024/25 period.

In addition, the Rotary Club of Goulburn has received in-kind support valued at $1,330.00 for their upcoming Goulburn Rotary Book Fair, scheduled from October 8th to October 20th, 2024. This includes a 50% discount on the Peden Pavilion hire fees and full coverage of the amenity cleaning costs.

Furthermore, a cash donation of $1,500 has been approved for the Goulburn District Historical & Genealogical Society. This funding will contribute to the Bicentennial Commemoration of the 1824 Hume and Hovell Expedition, specifically for planting a significant tree and installing a commemorative plaque.
