Council will contribute up to $500,000 for the expansion and upgrade of the club facilities at the Redlynch Community Facilities precinct.
The extension to the existing clubhouse, which will be undertaken by the Redlynch Razorbacks Junior Rugby League Club, will include two additional changes rooms, a community area with meeting room and gym area, and additional storage.
The upgrades will ensure the facility will adequately accommodate the Redlynch Razorback and the future needs of the Redlynch Strikers Football Club, including meeting the minimum requirements for senior football competition to be held onsite.
It will also guarantee the Redlynch Community Facilities, which are jointly managed by Council and the St Andrews Catholic College, continue to meet the needs of the growing community and the actions identified in the Redlynch Sport and Recreation Parklands masterplan.
