Council crews were kept busy responding to storm damage.
A major thunderstorm, which struck Orange early evening on 15 January, left hundreds of trees damaged in its wake.
To the east of the city, Pretty Plains Rd and Millthorpe Rd were blocked by fallen trees. Crews have cleared the fallen trees and the roads were re-opened to traffic last night.
Falling trees brought down power lines in Clinton Steet near Perry Oval, causing power black-outs in that neighbourhood.
Crews worked on clearing large tree limbs in Cook Park and a number of smaller limbs have came down in Robertson Park.
Falling trees brought power lines near the Orange Airport. Both Huntley Rd and Aerodrome Roads have been re-opened to traffic after they were earlier blocked by fallen trees.
Following the storm the airport was operating on generator-power. One flight from Sydney to Orange was cancelled. Two early morning flights went ahead as normal the next morning.
Poplar trees came down in Moulder Park near the Orange Aquatic Centre.
If residents notice tree damage in local Council-operated parks, they can use the 'Report it' button to pass on details of the damage. Council crews will respond when they can on a priority basis.
