Four Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) wards and the referendum results have been officially declared by the NSW Electoral Commission.
A recount request for Wellington ward is currently being considered by the Electoral Commission.
Official results for the declared wards are:

Central Ward – Mathew Dickerson and Vicky Etheridge

North Ward – Matthew Wright and Pam Wells

East Ward – Lewis Burns and Damien Mahon

South Ward – Josh Black and Shibli Chowdhury
Official referendum results are as follows:

Yes – 74.59%
-
No – 25.41%
Plans for an Extraordinary Meeting of Council will be finalised once a decision is made on the request for a recount in Wellington ward.
DRC is working towards the following scenarios:

If a decision to deny the Wellington ward recount request is made by 5pm today, Wednesday 22 December 2021, the first Extraordinary Meeting of Council will be held on Thursday 23 December 2021.

If a decision to deny the Wellington ward recount request is made after 5pm today, Wednesday 22 December 2021, the first Extraordinary Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday 11 January 2022.

If the Electoral Commission allows the request for a recount in Wellington Ward, DRC will work towards holding the Extraordinary Meeting in the New Year, pending the results of the recount.
