Goulburn Mulwaree Council was successful in gaining funding through the Office for Regional Youth under the Regional Youth Investment Program Grant.

Stage one of this project was to engage with youth and consult on many levels to get a better understanding of what the needs of our young people are.

Through surveys, face to face conversations and small group community consultations, Council's Youth Services team was able to hear from over 1,700 young people aged 12-24, from across our LGA. Through these interactions, Council has been able to gain valuable information on current needs, issues, and service gaps.

With the support and guidance of KD Solutions Pty Ltd, Council has developed a summary report of the youth consultation and key findings. This report will underpin Council's approach to engaging with and delivering meaningful youth services through a co-design and place-based model involving young people in decision making that will affect their futures.

Council now wants to hear from even more young people, their families, carers, and members of the public to see if anything has been missed or if any additional information should be included in this report.
