Willoughby City Council is excited to announce a unique Preloved Fashion Pop-Up event this November, aimed at promoting sustainable fashion.

The event will be an afternoon of eco-friendly shopping where attendees can explore a carefully curated selection of pre-owned clothing and accessories from local charity stores, including Vinnies and Lifeline.

Attendees can also book a free session with a professional stylist. Bring along one or two items from your wardrobe and learn how to style them, what to pair them with, and how to accessorize. While pre-booking is recommended, walk-ins will be accommodated as time slots become available.

The event will also feature an on-hand sewing expert available for quick fixes on items you bring from home. Advanced booking is encouraged to ensure you receive the assistance you need.

Willoughby Mayor Tanya Taylor emphasized the significance of sustainable shopping, particularly with Black Friday approaching:

"Events like this help to inspire a shift in how we approach consumption and style. Choosing sustainable fashion is a powerful way for our community to make a positive impact. I'm proud to see Willoughby leading the way."
