Manningham City Council gives notice under section 114(2)(b) of the Local Government Act 2020 and Council's community engagement policy of its intention to sell the land being a Road and known as 290A Jumping Creek Road, Warrandyte.
The Road was created on LP25465 and is land contained in certificate of title Volume 9325 Folio 978.
The Road was privately owned from the date of its creation in 1979 until 2019 by the current owner of the adjoining land known as 369-371 Ringwood-Warrandyte Road, Warrandyte.
The Road was mistakenly vested in Council on 19 September 2019 when Council included the Road in error in an application to the Registrar of Titles vesting roads in Council.
The Council proposes to sell and transfer back the Road to the original owner as an existing road for $11 (incl. GST) to rectify the administrative error.
The Council will resolve on the sale and retransfer of the Road after 28 days from the date of the publication of this notice.
