Council Secures Local Ticket Release For Cold Chisel Concert

Armidale Regional Council has secured a local ticket release for the Cold Chisel event coming up at Peterson's Winery on Saturday 5 October.

'The Big Five-O', Cold Chisel's 50th Anniversary Tour is kicking off in Armidale.

"First release tickets sold very quickly, and we know that many locals missed out," said Armidale Regional Council's Activations and Precincts Manager Renata Davis.

"This is a great opportunity to grab some last-minute tickets!"

500 local release tickets will be made available to people living in postcodes: 2350, 2365, 2358, and 2453.

"Tickets will be sold at the promoter's designated price. Council will not profit," Ms Davis said.

"We hope that this is an opportunity for local people to get to this hugely popular event!"

Tickets will be available from 4pm, Wednesday 2 October at Armidale Town Hall - until sold out:

  • EFTPOS will be available
  • Maximum 2 tickets per person
  • Tickets will be $150 each excluding charges
  • Identification (a driver's licence/similar) with an address demonstrating residence in eligible postcode must be presented to purchase tickets

According to Ms Davis, thousands of visitors are expected to be in Armidale for this event.

"To ensure everyone can find and access wonderful businesses in our region that weekend, Council is putting together information on cafes, pubs, and businesses that will be open.

"This information will guide concert goers and help generate economic activity in the CBD!"
