Council is looking for a First Nations artist to create two unique artworks to be incorporated into corporate uniform and operational vehicle decal designs.
The initiative signals Council's commitment towards reconciliation and celebrates Indigenous culture in the region.
Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Director, Dr Zanny Begg said the gallery was seeking a visual artist with a bond or relationship to the Shoalhaven.
"Having unique Indigenous artwork on display across the business is a powerful way to build stronger connections between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Shoalhaven," Dr Begg said.
"We have incredible First Nations artists on the south coast and this is a fantastic opportunity for creatives to have their work seen in the community. I'm excited to be part of the panel who will select the talented artist and watch them take their art to the next level," she said.
An Expression of Interest application (EOI) is now open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are connected to or based in the Shoalhaven.
