Council services affected by seven-day Covid lockdown

The Victorian Government's announcement this afternoon of a seven-day COVID-19 lockdown from 8pm tonight, will again impact Council services and facilities.

Essential services will continue to operate, but many Council facilities will be closed to the public for the duration of the lockdown period.

The Shire Offices in Greensborough, including the customer service desk, will be closed.

Our call centre team will be available as usual, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm on 03 9433 3111. Many items of Council business can be conducted on our website.

Kerbside waste collection and hard waste collection, will continue to operate.

The Recycling Centre in Plenty will be closed to all customers, as will the Reuse Shop.

Maternal and Child Health Services and playhouses will continue to operate.

Community facilities, including Edendale Community Environment Farm, leisure centres and other sporting facilities, will be closed to the public.
