The proposal seeks to combat Australia's housing crisis by permitting a broad range of housing types in the R2 Low Density Residential zone and R3 Medium Density Residential zone.

The proposal received 20 submissions during public exhibition, including 13 in support, with the final version incorporating feedback.

Councillors will consider a proposal to rezone 1 Progress Road, Mount Hutton, from R2 Low Density Residential to E1 Local Centre, allowing for the expansion of the existing local centre through commercial development.

Councillors will also consider approving seniors housing at 39 Thompson Street, Belmont South, comprising independent living units. This includes assessing proposed increases to the height variation and floor space ratio standards.

Councillors will consider approving the demolition of structures at 63-71 Main Road, Boolaroo to make way for three-story building catering to businesses, retail and childcare services with two levels of basement car parking.

Public Exhibition of Draft Teralba Reserve Plan of Management

Councillors will consider recommending the draft Teralba Reserve Plan of Management for public exhibition.
