Federation Council extends its sincere appreciation to all residents who attended the community forum held on Tuesday, April 1, at the Howlong Golf Club to discuss Development Application DA 2024 64, the proposed 41-lot subdivision at 1-19 Jude Street, Howlong.
The forum provided a valuable platform for residents to express their views and concerns regarding the proposed development. Council acknowledges the importance of community input in the planning process and is grateful for the active participation of those who attended.
Federation Council Mayor, Cr Cheryl Cook, said the forum, held from 5.30pm to 7pm, allowed residents to raise specific issues relating to the subdivision, and provided an opportunity for the applicant to hear those concerns and provide responses.
"We thank the residents of Howlong for their engagement and for taking the time to attend this important community forum," Mayor Cook said.
"The feedback received is crucial for Council to make an informed decision regarding the development application. We value the community's input and appreciate their willingness to participate in this process."
The information gathered at the forum will be carefully considered as part of the assessment of the development application, which will be reported to Council for determination.
