With the closure of the Portsmith Transfer Station, Council will today open three temporary sites for self-service sand bagging.
The sites are:
- Monk Street Park carpark, Manunda,
- Swallow Road, Edmonton,
- Gordonvale Depot carpark (Highleigh Rd, opposite Maher Rd).
The sites are expected to be open at 10am today.
Self-serving sand bagging is also available at Gordonvale and Smithfield transfer stations.
Additionally, SES are also stocked with bags and sand.
