Swan Hill Rural City Council is set to commence road reconstruction works on Jennings Road in Swan Hill, enhancing road safety and infrastructure for the local community.

Works are scheduled to commence on Monday, 25 November 2024, with the expected completion prior to Christmas.

Council's Director Infrastructure, Leah Johnston said works would start at the intersection of Jennings Road and Karinie Street, extending up to 3 Karinie Street.

"Throughout the reconstruction, the road will remain half-open to allow continued access for residents and businesses.

"We recognise that roadworks can cause some inconvenience, and every effort will be made to minimise disruptions, during this period,"

Ms Johnston said Council extended thanks to residents and businesses for their understanding and patience as we work to improve this important section of Jennings Road, which is currently in poor condition.
