Federation Council is pleased to present its Community Strategic Plan Engagement Report, a culmination of extensive community consultation and feedback. This report has guided the development of the draft Community Strategic Plan which will be presented to Council at the upcoming meeting on Tuesday, March 25 in Urana.
The Community Strategic Plan (CSP) is a long-term vision for the Federation Council area, outlining the community's aspirations and priorities for the next 15 years. The engagement process, which commenced in September 2024, aimed to capture the diverse perspectives of residents, businesses, and stakeholders to ensure the plan truly reflects the community's needs and desires.
Federation Council Mayor, Cr Cheryl Cook said Council is incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in the engagement process.
"The feedback we received has been invaluable in shaping the direction of our Community Strategic Plan," she said.
"Your input has helped us understand the key issues and opportunities facing our community, and will ensure that the final plan is a true reflection of our shared vision."
The engagement report details the various methods used to gather feedback, and data analysis of the feedback. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the key themes, challenges and priorities identified by the community, which has been used to inform the development of the final draft Community Strategic Plan.
