It was a crisp and clear winter weekend for the Gladstone Community Markets on Sunday 18 June, with lots of people taking advantage of the gorgeous riverside location for the perfect Sunday morning out.
Council staff and the Chatterbox Van were part of the market colour on the day as part of the Readiness and Recovery Program, handing out copies of the Get Ready Smithtown, Gladstone and Belmore River Preparedness Plans.
The team also took the opportunity to chat with community members about the local art scene and Council's Art and Culture Plan, while the team from Pepparific Parties entertained the kids with free balloon sculptures and craft activities.
Look out for the Chatterbox van at Crescent Head next weekend!
