Since sharing our news on Moruya Airport, Rex has gone into voluntary administration.
While capital city routes have been grounded, the administrator said regional routes will continue to operate during the administration period. Customers with onward capital-city Rex connections have received texts advising cancellation of those flights.
The Moruya flight schedule remains unchanged.
Moruya Airport's passenger numbers are back at their highest since the pandemic. It's more important than ever we support the Moruya service so any review and restructure show the route remains a profitable one.
Rex has previously indicated its desire to increase services to Moruya, showing a confidence in the route and its profitability.
The service is vital to our community for business, family connections and medical services, and we will keep advocating for and supporting it.
