Council's Works team is at Yankee Creek Road near Mullumbimby for a couple of weeks giving it some long-awaited, and much needed, attention.
The focus of the project is on stabilsing the surface of the 1.5km stretch of gravel and asphalt road, and giving it a new seal.
"I am sure that this project will put smiles on the faces of residents because Yankee Creek Road, as it currently is, is in pretty poor condition," Phil Holloway, Director Infrastructure Services said.
All going well the work should be finished by 1 December 2023.
