An "artisan alley" is among the highlights of this weekend's Wreckfest Rare Trades Festival.
More than a dozen artisans will demonstrating their craft and skill at the second annual festival which is held at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village.
Friends of Flagstaff Hill president Glenda Peterson said people could enjoy demonstrations of knife-making, coopering, leather-crafting, plaque-making, wool-spinning, shearing, soap-making, cider-making, dress making, cane fishing rod making, blacksmithing and more.
Along with the activities and demonstrations there'll be musical entertainment in the form of Flo Lindemann and the Tin Shed Singers who will belt out some rousing sea shanties.
All this will be set against the backdrop of Flagstaff Hill with its cobblestone streets and carefully recreated heritage buildings.
The Stella Maris Tea Rooms will be open for those keen on a Devonshire tea and there'll be food vans and other local food producers
And of course you can dive into stories of shipwreck survivors and hear tales of bravery and adventure from those who battled the wild oceans of the South West coast.
Wreckfest Rare Trades Festival is on Sunday, November 3 from 10am to 5pm.
