Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash in Mindarie this morning, Saturday 1 August 2020.
About 12:10am officers from the Traffic Enforcement Group were conducting a random breath test activity on Neerabup Road, Clarkson, near the intersection of Connolly Drive.
A black Infinity Q50 sedan stopped, however when approached by the officers the driver accelerated away. Police attempted to intercept the vehicle, however the driver only made it a short distance away before losing control of the vehicle and crashed into wall at a residence on Anchorage Drive, Mindarie.
The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old man, did not receive any serious injuries.
His passengers, a 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were both taken to hospital by St John Ambulance for treatment to injuries they received in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
