Crash Involving Police Vehicle - Bonnyrigg

A fully marked police vehicle has been involved in a crash in Sydney's south west.

About 12.15am today (Monday 24 March 2025), officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were engaged in pursuit of a black Mazda on Elizabeth Drive, Bonnyrigg, when their vehicle was involved in a crash with a white sedan at the intersection of Cabramatta Road West.

The sedan was not otherwise involved in the pursuit.

The driver of the sedan – a 35-year-old man – was taken to Liverpool Hospital with neck and back pain for assessment.

Both officers were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital with minor injuries.

The police driver will also undergo mandatory testing.

An investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
