#Hope for the Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef, a natural wonder teeming with life and beauty, stands as a beacon of hope, a testament to the collective impact we can achieve. Anna Marsden, Managing Director of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, explains: "The Great Barrier Reef has been a source of wonder for millions of people over thousands of years and there really is nothing quite like it, but it is under threat from the impacts of climate change and needs our help."
In recent years, we've seen unprecedented advances in coral reef restoration science. Anna says: "We've made more advances in coral reef restoration science in the past five years than we have in the past five decades. We're funding critical actions at a critical time and working together to implement solutions at a scale and pace never before attempted.
"Australians are our Great Barrier Reef's guardians. It is our responsibility to safeguard her future. She is beautiful, resilient and with your help there is still hope."
