CFA crews from Pearcedale and Baxter attended a car fire on Victoria Road Langwarrin South just after 1030am Tuesday morning.
Initial reports stated that the car was on fire and dangerously close to a shed and was spreading into scrub.
On arrival crews were quick to stop the fire spreading. Breathing apparatus equipment was used to help members extinguish the fire completely.
Members from both brigades worked together to put the fire out. Crews were on scene for 45 minutes before it was deemed safe.
Victoria Police were also on scene to support.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
