Crime Spree In Northern Suburbs

Police are investigating after a crime spree in the northern suburbs overnight.

Overnight Wednesday 7 August to Thursday 8 August a home was broken into on Francis Avenue Broadview and a Mazda SUV SA Registration XX870A (pictured below) stolen from the property.

This vehicle was involved in a fuel drive off at a service station in Paralowie just after 10.30pm on 8 August. The vehicle has not been located.

At 12.30am, Friday 9 August an attempt was made to enter a home on Janet Court, Highbury and a short time later a home on Jubilee Way, Wynn Vale.

Just after 2am police responded to multiple alarms coming from a shopping centre on Wilkinson Road. Para Hills.

On police arrival they found two business had been broken into, with three further businesses with their windows smashed.

The four offenders had fled the scene.

They are all described as Aboriginal. Suspect one, described as wearing black tracksuit pants, black puffer vest with a hood and a face mask. Suspect two described wearing a light blue puffer jacket black tracksuit pants and white trainers and face mask. Suspect three described as wearing black tracksuit pants black jacket with hood with green emblem on the top. Suspect four described as wearing grey tracksuit pants and grey hoody.

PD Rusty was called in to search the area but was unable to locate the suspects.

At 7.30am the owner of a Great Wall Ute parked on Amber Road Highbury discovered his vehicle had been stolen and dumped a short distance away on Bruce Crescent.

At 8.20am a break-in to a takeaway on Elliston Avenue was reported, which had occurred overnight, where cash and electrical items were stolen.

Police believe the incidents are all linked, and the investigation is continuing.
