Perth Police have charged a 38-year-old Balga man after an incident in Perth yesterday, 3 August 2020.
About 9.35am, officers observed the man walking through the Perth Train Station on Wellington Street in Perth dressed in costume attire of the "Joker".
It is alleged the man was carrying a container with more than 12 cans of spray paint and had spray painted the external cover of a City of Perth CCTV camera.
The man has been charged with:
• Criminal Damage or Destruction of Property;
• Obstructing Public Officers; and
• Fail to Comply with a Request to Give Police Personal Details.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 4 August 2020.
