Critical Injuries for Two in Bullarook Collision

Police are investigating after two people were critically injured following a collision in Bullarook today.

Emergency services were called to Wilsons Road, between Black Swamp and Barkstead roads, following reports a Ford Ranger utility and a Nissan X-Trail SUV collided about 11am.

The driver of the Nissan, a 30-year-old man and his passenger, a 24-year-old woman, both French nationals, were airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Ranger, a 27-year-old Brown Hill man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has spoken with police.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are on scene and investigations are ongoing.
