Ballarat Highway Patrol officers are investigating a critical injury collision in Burrumbeet this afternoon.
Police have been told a white four-wheel drive, travelling east towards Ballarat, crashed into a tree on Remembrance Drive about 3.30pm on Wednesday, 25 September.
The male driver of the car was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle travelling along Remembrance Drive prior to the collision.
