Toph Tri Cera's interactive art installation, The Mortifying Ordeal, is inviting Crows Nest Gallery visitors to consider how they perceive the world and each other.
The exhibition will be on display at the gallery from April 16 to May 18, 2025.
Viewers will be challenged to consider that it is impossible to experience a world without the influence of their own personal perspectives.
This interactive installation creates a literal framework that reflects the phenomenon of our internal and physical points of view.
Toph has built this framework from her perspective, including her own biases, areas of clouded judgement, and reconnection with her inner child.
