Major Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information following a fatal collision between a car and cyclist in Lilliput this morning.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Rutherglen-Springhurst Road about 8.20am.
Police have been told the car was travelling on Rutherglen-Springhurst Road when the incident occurred.
Sadly, the cyclist died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene to render assistance and is assisting police with enquiries.
