Police are investigating after a cyclist died at Connewarre this morning, Victoria Police say.
It is understood a cyclist was riding west along 13th Beach Road when he fell from his bike about 8.30am.
The man was riding with a group at the time but, it’s not believed any other persons or vehicles were involved in the incident.
A 64-year-old Ocean Grove man, who was wearing a helmet at the time, died at the scene.
Investigators are yet to determine the cause of the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
