Since the time of Tomáš Masaryk and Woodrow Wilson, the friendship between our peoples has served the cause of freedom and democracy. Today, the United States is proud to partner with Czechia to support the government and people of Ukraine as they defend their freedom from Russia's war of aggression. Czechia's leadership in supplying ammunition and arms, training, humanitarian relief, and support for refugees is a model for all freedom-loving nations.
The partnership between our nations continues to improve global security and advance the prosperity and well-being of our peoples. From our deep economic ties and shared commitment to NATO, to our mutual engagement on energy security and the clean energy transition, and our robust people-to-people exchanges, our connections continue to grow and strengthen.
