Dana-Farber Elects Four to Board of Trustees

At a recent meeting of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Board of Trustees, four new trustees were elected to serve three-year terms.

The new trustees are:

Payal Agrawal Divakaran, Brookline, MA, is a partner at .406 Ventures, a leading Boston-based early-stage venture capital firm focused on healthcare, data + AI, and cybersecurity with over $1.4B under management. Payal co-leads the healthcare investing practice at .406 and works with world-class founders and healthcare technology and services companies that are improving clinical care delivery in partnership with hospital systems and health plans.

Before joining .406 in 2015, Divakaran co-founded a company called SpotRocket and previously worked at Spectrum Equity and J.P. Morgan. Payal received her MBA, with Distinction, from Harvard Business School and her BS in Electrical Engineering and minor in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ken Lochiatto, Naples, FL, has nearly 40 years of business experience, including a transformative decade as Chief Executive Officer of Convergint.

Lochiatto is a distinguished leader across the materials, gaming, and systems integration industries. His career spans pivotal roles in sales, finance, and executive leadership at GE, WMS Gaming, and Convergint. Before joining Convergint, Lochiatto served as President and COO of WMS Gaming, where he drove strategic growth and operational excellence.

An engineer by training, Lochiatto holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MS in Management of Information Systems & Analysis from Carnegie Mellon University. He contributes his experience as a board member for dormakaba and Nations Roofing.

Liz Rappaport, Longmeadow, MA, is managing partner of Century Investment Company, a commercial real estate business based out of Western Massachusetts where she is responsible for the day-to-day management, leasing and construction of the properties.

In addition to her day-to-day work at Century, Rappaport volunteers in her community, serving as the co-chair of the Jimmy Fund WMass Classic, professional advisor for Rachel's Table of Western MA, and the Executive Board, Secretary and Building Committee of the Springfield Jewish Community Center.

Rappaport is also a Trustee of Country Bank, a $1.9 billion bank serving Western and Central Massachusetts.

Rappaport has a bachelor's in business management from Babson College and an MBA with a concentration of Real Estate from University of Connecticut.

William (Bill) Farber Santis, MD, is a urologic surgeon who has cared for patients with genitourinary cancers in the Concord Hospital Health System in New Hampshire since 2000. Specializing in robotic urologic surgery, Santis champions patient-centered care with a comprehensive focus on both patient and provider wellness. He teaches residents and students as a clinical assistant professor of surgery for Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine. Santis also serves as the Associate Chief Clinical Officer for Surgical Services overseeing all surgical practices and surgical operations within the system.

Santis received his BS from Tufts University and his MA and MD from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed residency training at the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School Program in Urology.

Santis was one of the founding runners of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge in 1990 and provided leadership during its early years. He is the grandson of Sidney Farber and strives to honor his grandfather's legacy by continuing to support those impacted by cancer in his professional and philanthropic work.
