Police have charged a man after he was allegedly seen driving erratically across multiple suburbs on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to multiple reports of a silver Nissan SUV being driven erratically outbound on Dandenong Road commencing in Malvern East about 4.45pm.
A coordinated response involving officers from multiple Police Service Areas tracked the allegedly stolen car along Dandenong Road to Oakleigh.
The driver was arrested on Henry Street in Oakleigh about 5.25pm after police vehicles blocked him in.
A 30-year-old Templestowe Lower man has since been charged with six counts of reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving, four counts of reckless conduct endangering persons, drive in a manner dangerous, theft of motor vehicle, theft from motor vehicle, and drive whilst disqualified.
