Police have charged two men with drug offences following a routine intercept in Ballandean this morning, Queensland Police say.
At around 8am, a station wagon was directed to pull over to the side of the New England Highway for the purpose of a random breath test.
Police will allege a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed three duffel bags containing approximately 48 kilograms of cannabis.
Two New South Wales men, aged 55 and 33 have been charged with one count each of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow.
