Police have charged a man in relation to the dangerous operation of a vehicle at Sadliers Crossing on September 30.
It will be alleged the Tesla was travelling on Tiger Street when the vehicle left the road at speed, before crashing into the front room of a home, then coming to land nearby.
The 32-year-old driver and a 29-year-old male passenger both received non-life threatening injuries.
Officers will allege the car reached speeds of up to 150km/h in a 50km zone moments before the crash occurred.
Ipswich District Acting Superintendent Jim Munckton said it is yet another a stark reminder for drivers to take additional care when driving on the roads.
"Even momentary recklessness can have catastrophic and life changing outcomes," Superintendent Munckton said.
"Speed is one of the Fatal Five and every kilometre over the limit, you are putting yourself and others at risk."
A 32-year-old Brassall man has been issued a notice to appear in court for dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm and driving over the general alcohol limit.
He is expected to appear before the Ipswich Magistrates Court on January 12.
