As summer approaches, Council is pleased to announce that both the Dareton and Wentworth pools will open on Sunday 3 November. With extended hours and accessible facilities, these community pools offer the perfect way to enjoy the season.
Pool Locations, Hours & Accessibility
Dareton Pool
- Location: Matong Street, Dareton
- Operating Hours:
- Morning Sessions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday): 6.00am – 7.00am
- Weekdays: 2.00pm – 7.00pm
- Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 12.00pm – 7.00pm
- Accessibility: Ramp and chair lift access are available, with handrails along the pool ramp to support safe and easy entry.
Wentworth Pool
- Location: Beverley Street, Wentworth
- Operating Hours:
- Morning Sessions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday): 7.00am – 8.00am
- Weekdays: 2.00pm – 7.00pm
- Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 12.00pm – 7.00pm
- Accessibility: Equipped with an accessible ramp, handrails, and a chair lift to accommodate all visitors.
