Darwin Assault: Police Seek Info on Theft Attempt

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an assault with intent to steal occurred in Jingili earlier this month.

Around 3pm on Friday 3 May 2024, two unknown males allegedly approached two youths in an alleyway with an edged weapon and demanded the youths to hand over their belongings.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of Mayhew Crescent and Wackett Street, Jingili.

The youths were able to get home safely where they reported the incident to police.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident are urging anyone with information, particularly CCTV or dashcam footage to contact police on 131 444. Please quote NTP2400044211.
