Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a Western Sydney day care worker with allegedly sexually touching a child.
In September 2024, detectives attached to State Crime Command's Child Abuse Squad received a report that a young child had been sexually abused at a Sydney day care.
Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested a 34-year-old man at a warehouse in Kemps Creek, at about 12.45pm yesterday (Thursday 10 October 2024).
He was taken to Penrith Police Station where he was charged with intentionally sexually touch child under 10 and common assault.
The man was refused bail to appear before Penrith Local Court today (Friday 11 October 2024).
